Me and My Uncle Randy

Pearce spending some super quality time with Uncle Randy.

I'm doing a good job of looking like I can read music.

Randy is providing background music for my one finger melodies.

Just like Daddy, I can turn pages for Uncle Randy. (I fit better)

Is this it Randy? You raise your pinky and hit the white one like so?

Watch out behind! He may be gassy. He ate Daddy's cooking.
This entertaining business is rough on a little fella Uncle Randy.

A Pearceful Christmas

I bet you wish you knew what I'm thinking.

Is this close enough for ya?

I'm the pianoman let me play you a song tonight.

and Pearce sang "Christmas is Jesus' birthday!"

Look at me. I'm double computing...I think.

Milk and Santa presents. What more does a boy need?

Christmas presents galore and Frosty, too.
Checkout the fireplace on the TV.
Short little concert for the folks.

Christmas is the Best Time of the Year

The Christmas get together was awesome. I really enjoyed the crowd coming up and cooking for them all. It definitely was a full day. Kristi and I enjoyed having everybody in the house and Pearce absolutely loved the action going on all around.

Man, this couch is sooo comfy.

But it is more comfy in Pop's lap.
Are you positive about that?
What do you think it is Zoe? Could it be a flying saucer?
Thanks Aunt Suzy for my lap top, and you too Sam.
See Zoe, this is how you make that work.
Me and the cousins are playing cars.
Zane is really good at this car stuff.
Cars are the best toy... right now.

Baby It's Cold Outside

Well, this is how I dressed for work today. I actually had to wear the scarf Mom made for practical reasons as well as the fact that it is Christmas Party day at Woodland Middle.

See, my nose is even pink from the walk into the building. That scarf really is warm in addition to being so good looking. (FYI) That is the 8th grade science lab behind me.

Well, it is about time for steak eating and friendly chatter so I do believe I will leave the computer now. Everyone have a wonderful evening and there will be ...

Most Humble Apologies

I regret greatly that I did not mention the vast and large amounts of help Randy provided us in decorating the Christmas tree. Without his sacrifice (he hates to fluff fake firs) our Tannenbaum would have no boom. His selfless donation of cat (and Pearce) proof ornaments has been immolated... I mean emulated by other siblings. Randy also wins twice for best gift (best offhand and best unintentional). The gifts were the ubiquitous cardboard paper roll, and the premie grand that Pearce now walks around pretending to play whenever he remembers where he put it on the tree.

Here is a sample of Randy's work. Just look at the shape of that tree.

The cats are using the tree properly this year. They are sleeping under it instead of in it.

And the young maestro is attempting to replace the ornament he just removed. That tree is gorgeous isn't it?

Italian Christmas Southern Style

Hey, y'all! Going with the idea of the Italian tradition of the Feast of the Seven Fishes I have laid out a tentative menu. Lobster/Artichoke Dip, Oyster Stew, Clam Chowder, Sea Food Gumbo (shrimp, scallops, catfish), Fried, or Baked Rainbow Trout.

For veggies I am fixin' the onion and green tomato gratin. Maybe some green beans and creamed corn. Sound good?

Desert will be Pumpkin Cheesecake, and whatever any of y'all want to bring. (Daddy will you bring your pecan pie)

I am so excited about having this get together. I really hope to see everyone there.

I have made commenting easier. So if you have any suggestions about the menu or requests just leave a comment.

A Roman Christmas Parade

Pearce went to his first Christmas parade this year and had an awesome time. He waved at nearly every float and blew a few kisses to random floats. Here are a few pictures from the evening.
Got Mommy will travel.
OOOO! What's that over there is that a reindeer or a horsey?

Oh, Momma, I see Daddy all the time. It's not everyday I get to see a stagecoach.

Daddy, you are the best. As long as you keep the oreo's coming.

Maybe they can see me waving better with Drew's gloves on.

No flash photography please.
Ho, Ho, Ho Merry Christmas

The End.
