Baby's Got Braids

Kristi braided Claire's hair for the first time this morning. My baby girl's braid is to cute.

A Lot of Rain, A Lot of Lightning, No Soccer

Well, we have had our first cancellation. The weather is so bad they called off the matches for today. Usually we just take it inside, but not today.
Hey, Mom and Dad y'all aren't missing the game. It is pouring buckets and we've got a real light show going on. Good foresight. The match be rescheduled for a DTD.

My Favorite Day

Look at this poor guy. I'd look like that, too, if I had to stand up to play my cello. Thank the good Lord someone got tired enough to sit down. Also, kind of happy Bach wrote his six solo cello suites.

Spring Cleaning

As usual I forgot to take before picture. However, most of y'all have been here and remember the mess it was. I took out all the "weed" trees popping up in there and pruned the crepe myrtle down to bush size. It needs a new layer of landscape fabric and mulch but we'll deal with that later.
The tea olive on your left is going to disappear or move. Thinking by the basement door or the lower corner down past the garage window.
The landscape is finally a work in progress not just dreams and thoughts.
