The Fleet is Assembled

Can't wait for tomorrow! Pearce is going to flip his lid. He was so excited about just filling the pool he couldn't contain himself. I have to say Daddy is pretty excited to.

Three Varieties

The one in the middle is my favorite with the deep purple middle. Yes, the leaves perked back up in water.

Calling All Calla Lilies

Well, we cut the Calla Lilies by the door today. Pretty aren't they? There are more in the next post or two.

Pearce Against the Machine

Pearce standing next to the machinery used to bore out (pierce ;p) the guns at the Noble Foundry.

Big Bang

This is the Noble gun "Annie Lee" cast in Rome in 1862. It has just returned to Rome from exile in South Carolina. Pearce and I went to see it this morning. I will post a video later of a round being fired.

Summer Relief

God is showing me the way I do believe. I have just scheduled an interview for a lead facilitator position for a summer youth program working with at risk middle school age children.

At first I thought it was only for Cartersville. However, the lady I set the interview with asked if I would be interested in interviewing for the Floyd county position. I had to think about that for a minute. Duh! I said I'd be happy to interview for that position.

Wednesday at nine send prayers my way. It'll be 2-3 hours a day, 2-3 days a week. They prefer not to do anything on Fridays. I guess I'll just have to cope with that.
